Jeamie ‘TKV’ Tshikeva has made history by claiming the British heavyweight title with a thrilling split-decision win over Frazer Clarke! The 12-round battle in Derby was an intense showdown, with TKV weathering Clarke’s early attacks and delivering devastating punches of his own, including a thunderous left hook in the 11th round that nearly ended the fight.
Despite having a point deducted for repeated low blows, TKV’s dominance paid off, with two judges scoring the bout 115-113 and 115-112 in his favor, while the third judge scored it 115-112 for Clarke. Clarke, an Olympic bronze medalist, showed incredible resilience, battling through the final round despite being rocked by TKV’s powerful blows.
TKV, who had a point taken off, still managed to secure the win and is now open to a rematch, saying, “I whooped that boy in his back yard… We will do it in London this time, maybe at Wembley – but anytime, anywhere”.
