The Sports Minister, Kofi Adams, has emphasized the importance of strong governance as the National Sports Authority (NSA) board begins its three-day strategic retreat in Ada. He stressed that the newly inaugurated Sports Fund is crucial for sustainable sports development and promotion in Ghana, and urged the board to prioritize good governance and prudent public sector management.

The Minister also highlighted key sporting activities scheduled for 2026, including Ghana’s participation in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and hosting international championships.
