Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were found dead in their Los Angeles home, with police investigating the incident as an apparent homicide. The couple, who were in their 70s, were discovered by their daughter Romy, who reportedly told police that a family member “should be a suspect” because they’re “dangerous”.
Reports suggest that the couple’s son, Nick Reiner, a 32-year-old struggling with drug addiction, is being questioned by police in connection with the deaths. Nick had recently moved back into the family home and had a history of substance abuse.
Rob Reiner, 78, was a renowned director, producer, and actor, known for classics like “This is Spinal Tap”, “A Few Good Men”, “When Harry Met Sally”, and “The Princess Bride”. Michele, 68, was a photographer and producer who worked on several of her husband’s projects.
The Los Angeles Police Department is treating the case as a homicide, and investigators are waiting for a search warrant to conduct a thorough investigation of the premises.
