Dr. Prosper Ogum has begun rebuilding the Black Starlets, Ghana’s U17 national team, with a focus on pressing, ball recovery, and attacking transitions.
After the team’s second training session in Ivory Coast, Ogum expressed satisfaction with the players’ progress, citing their adaptability to the new environment and improvement in training.
The Black Starlets recently drew 1-1 with Togo in their opening fixture at the WAFU Zone B U17 Championship, with Ogum praising the team’s resilience despite playing with ten men for most of the match.
Ogum’s leadership has seen the team make significant strides, and he’s optimistic about their chances in the tournament.
