Hackman Owusu-Agyeman, Chairman of the NPP Council of Elders, has urged presidential aspirants to refrain from using inflammatory language, or “machomen,” on election day, emphasizing the need to maintain peace and unity within the party. He stressed that true leadership is demonstrated not only in victory but also in how disappointment is managed, and warned that words and actions taken during moments of tension can have lasting and damaging consequences.
Owusu-Agyeman’s call comes as the party prepares for its presidential primary, and he has also assured delegates that no candidate will be given preferential treatment, emphasizing that the rules will be applied fairly to all aspirants.
