NDC’s National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has warned that the government will pursue former officials accused of looting state resources, emphasizing accountability and transparency. “Any previous government official who dipped his or her hands into the public purse will be made to vomit it. Ghana’s resources belong to the people, and we will protect them,” he stated.
Asiedu Nketiah reiterated the party’s commitment to recovering stolen funds, citing Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL), an anti-corruption initiative. Some former officials are reportedly returning misappropriated funds through the Attorney General’s Office, though critics question the slow pace of prosecutions.
The NDC government aims to restore the collapsed economy and ensure proper management of state resources, with Asiedu Nketiah assuring Ghanaians of transparency and accountability.
