Zanetor Rawlings, daughter of former President Jerry John Rawlings, has called on Ghanaians to honor her father’s legacy through integrity and service. She emphasized that true tribute to her father lies not in monuments, but in living by the values he stood for, such as accountability, transparency, dedication, humility, and integrity.
Speaking at an event unveiling a statue of her father in Keta, Volta Region, Zanetor Rawlings urged citizens to uphold these ideals, saying, “If we can all live by those ideals, then that is how we honour his memory”.
Zanetor Rawlings has consistently praised her father’s courage and commitment to Ghana, describing him as a man of rare conviction and a true leader. She has also highlighted his contributions to the country’s development, including the Keta Sea Defense Project.
