Ghana’s veterans table tennis team is on fire! They dominated regional tournaments in Togo and Benin, bringing home multiple medals and trophies. In Togo, David Ashong took gold in the Men’s 40+ Singles, while Leonard Vanderpuye-Orgle, aka “The Royal Baby,” won gold in the Men’s 60+ Singles. Ghana also secured silver in the Teams Event.
In Benin, Ghana’s team won two gold medals and two prestigious trophies at the West African Singles Open Championship. Reuben Okine delivered a standout performance, defeating Benin’s home favorite 4-1 to secure gold in the Men’s 40+ Singles.
