Exchequers of the Bank of Ghana have successfully defended their title, winning the Sapholda Greater Accra Hockey Association (GAHA) knockout gala tournament. They secured a 2-0 victory over Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) in the men’s final at the Theodosia Okoh Stadium.
This win marks a dominant year for Exchequers, who also retained the Sapholda GAHA Hockey League title in September and successfully defended the Fetu Afahye Hockey Cup in Cape Coast in August. GRA, on the other hand, will have to settle for the 2025 T-Tommy Memorial Tournament trophy they won in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, in July.
In the women’s division, GRA Royal Ladies dominated, winning all tournaments they entered, including the Africa Club Championships, T Tommy Tournament, Oguaa Fetu Championship, Greater Accra League, and Greater Accra Knockout.
