Davido has expressed gratitude to his father, Adedeji Adeleke, for publicly defending him amid a paternity controversy involving Ayo Labinjoh, who claims Davido is the father of her 12-year-old daughter, Aanu Adeleke. The singer took to his Instagram story to thank his father, sharing a photo of them together and writing, “Thank you my loving Father”.
The controversy began when Aanu wrote an open letter to Davido, requesting a paternity test. Davido denied the allegations, stating that five DNA tests had already confirmed he’s not Aanu’s father. However, Ayo Labinjoh disputed the test results, calling them fake.
Adedeji Adeleke held a press conference to address the issue, revealing that paternity tests were conducted on both Davido and his cousin, singer B-Red, and all tests came out negative.
