Dr. Prince Pambo, the Black Stars team doctor, has been checking on the injuries of two key players, Mohammed Salisu and Francis Abu. Salisu, who plays for Monaco, suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in January and is expected to miss the 2026 FIFA World Cup, requiring at least nine months to recover. Dr. Pambo visited Salisu in Monaco to assess his progress and provide support.
As for Francis Abu, Dr. Pambo also visited him in France, where he’s undergoing rehabilitation for a severe ankle injury. Abu is expected to recover within five to six months, but Dr. Pambo is monitoring his progress to ensure a smooth recovery.
