The first batch of trainees were presented with certificates.
The AkunaPod Creative Hub is a dynamic space dedicated to nurturing Africa’s creative economy by providing content creators, actors, musicians, and storytellers with the tools, resources, and environment to thrive.
With a unique value of bridging creativity with business and financial sustainability while connecting Africa’s creative talent to global markets and platforms, the creative hub hopes to provide both technical infrastructure and strategic knowledge for creators to thrive.
It hopes to among other things create event areas designed for workshops, listening sessions, screenings, and networking events as well as hold masterclasses, and mentorship initiatives in financial literacy, digital media, storytelling, and business growth.
That’s not all, it intends to be a collaboration between local creatives and international industry players, opening doors for cross-continental projects and support for emerging creators and actors through skills training, visibility, and opportunities for monetisation.
