Britney Spears has sold the rights to her entire music catalogue to Primary Wave, a music publishing company, in a deal estimated to be worth around $200 million. The sale includes iconic hits like “…Baby One More Time”, “Oops!… I Did It Again”, “Toxic”, and “Gimme More”. This move is part of a growing trend of artists selling their music rights, following in the footsteps of Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, and Justin Bieber.
Spears, 44, has been relatively quiet on the music scene since releasing her last album, “Glory”, in 2016, and ending her conservatorship in 2021. She recently stated she wouldn’t perform in the US again, citing “extremely sensitive reasons”, but hinted at possible international performances.
