Davido is fuming after being accused of owing a wedding planner $50,000. The Nigerian Afrobeat star took to social media to dismiss the allegations, calling them “crazy” and expressing disbelief over the claims. The controversy started when a screenshot surfaced, allegedly showing Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, CEO of Zapphaire Events, demanding payment and threatening legal action if the debt wasn’t cleared within three days.
However, Bucknor-Obruthe has denied making these claims, stating that the viral screenshot is false and misleading, and didn’t originate from her or her company. She also clarified that she only operates her verified social media account, distancing herself from the message.
