Birmingham City has secured the loan of Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman from Brighton & Hove Albion until the end of the 2025-26 season. Osman, 21, was recalled from his loan spell at French Ligue 1 side Auxerre, where he made 14 appearances and provided two assists. This move marks Osman’s first foray into English football, and he’s expected to add depth and competition to Birmingham’s wide positions.
Osman, a £16 million Brighton signing in 2024, previously spent time on loan with Feyenoord, where he scored three goals and registered three assists in 22 Eredivisie matches, alongside seven Champions League appearances. Birmingham City manager Chris Davies views Osman as a versatile option to bolster attacking options, providing fresh impetus for the second half of the season.
