Ghana’s Black Stars are facing an injury crisis, with key players like Mohammed Salisu, Mohammed Kudus, and Ernest Nuamah sidelined. Salisu, who plays for Monaco, suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and is out for the remainder of the season, casting doubt on his availability for the 2026 World Cup.
Coach Otto Addo is keeping a close eye on Salisu’s recovery and has visited him in France to offer encouragement and discuss Ghana’s World Cup ambitions. Addo has also checked in on other injured players, including Abdul Mumin and Ernest Nuamah, showing his commitment to team building and solidarity.
Salisu had been in top form for Monaco before his injury, making 12 appearances and scoring once. His absence will be a significant blow to Ghana’s defense.
