Theophilus Allotey is making waves in the boxing world! He’s moved up to 10th place in the Ring Magazine rankings, putting him one step closer to his world title dream. This impressive climb comes after his commanding win over Jayr Raquinel, a former WBC Continental Americas champion, in December. Allotey’s victory earned him the WBO Global super flyweight title and solidified his position among the top contenders.
With this momentum, Allotey is expected to enter the top 5 when the WBO releases its next world rankings. He’s already made history by capturing national and UBO Africa super-flyweight titles, as well as the WBO Africa bantamweight belt, all within his first year as a pro.
Allotey’s next big test is defending his WBO Global title against a top-10-rated boxer on March 6, Independence Day. His team, led by Coach Kwasi Ofori Asare, is confident he’s on the right path to becoming a world champion.
