Ghanaian football legend André Ayew is hoping for a World Cup win soon, reflecting on Ghana’s historic 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup triumph in Egypt.
Ayew, who captained the Black Satellites to victory, believes Ghana can replicate that success, saying, “We brought the world to Ghana, and we hope it’s going to happen again pretty soon, Insha Allah”.
Ayew’s hopes are fueled by Ghana’s rich football history and the emergence of young talent. As ambassador for the 2025 MILO U-13 Champions League, he’s committed to inspiring the next generation of Ghanaian footballers.
Ghana has yet to win a senior World Cup title, but Ayew’s optimism is infectious.
