Ghana Tourism Authority’s CEO, Maame Efua Houadjeto, is strengthening Ghana’s global tourism brand through creative arts collaborations in Columbus, Ohio.
She’s met with top leaders in the arts and creative industries to explore partnerships that promote Ghanaian culture and attract investments.
Some key initiatives include:
Hosting Ghana Arts Showcases in Columbus: showcasing Ghanaian art and culture to international audiences
Establishing artist-in-residence exchanges: providing opportunities for Ghanaian artists to work and learn abroad
Facilitating investment tours for American art patrons: attracting investments to Ghana’s creative sector
Co-creating arts education programs: nurturing young Ghanaian talent These efforts are part of the GTA’s “Experience Ghana” campaign, positioning Ghana as Africa’s premier cultural and tourism destination.
A Creative Arts & Investment Delegation will visit Ghana in early 2026 to explore collaboration opportunities.
