Accra is set to host a landmark cultural celebration as the Jazzin’ Africa Festival debuts on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel.
This festival promises a soul-stirring night of African jazz, instrumental brilliance, and musical fusion, featuring an exceptional lineup of artists from across the continent and beyond.
Spearheaded by renowned award-winning Ghanaian saxophonist and former UNAIDS-Ghana PTG Goodwill Ambassador Steve Bedi, Jazzin’ Africa Festival is more than a concert—it is a movement to spotlight the brilliance of African jazz and celebrate the instrumentalists and vocalists who have long been the unsung heroes of the music industry.
The inaugural edition will feature headline artist Steve Bedi from Ghana, with special guest Tom Braxton from USA, a celebrated smooth jazz saxophonist.
Other distinguished acts include Ayi Solomon from Denmark and Ghana), Dudu Makhoba from South Africa, and Albino Mbie from Mozambique and USA.
Together, they promise audiences a rich blend of Afro-jazz, soul, indigenous rhythms, and world-class performance artistry.
“This festival is about restoring pride in African jazz, giving instrumentalists and singers a platform to shine, and creating a Pan-African musical experience that can travel the world,” said Steve Bedi, Artistic Director of Jazzin’ Africa Festival.
Adding to the experience, the festival will feature a glamorous red-carpet reception, welcoming dignitaries, guests, and jazz lovers into an evening of elegance, culture, and celebration.
